Go live with a registration form

Publish a minimum public site and a join form so families type themselves in — do not hand-enter the roster.

Go live with a join form before you type a roster. Families fill themselves in; you convert submissions later. An empty home page is allowed, but a logo, one photo, a contact email, and a published registration page is what is worth sharing.

Minimum shareable site

  1. Branding — organization name, logo, brand colors.
  2. Home — one landscape hero (about 1920×1080). Tagline is optional.
  3. Contact — a real person (registrar or office), not a noreply address.
  4. Registration — create a page, set the notification email, publish it.
  5. Save & Publish on Public Site → Home. Subdomain cannot change after publish.

Where to get a logo

  • Existing website header, Uniform/SportsEngine, or the school athletic mark
  • Canva, Looka, or ChatGPT / DALL·E if you have nothing — export a PNG and upload under Branding
  • Initials fallback is fine for day one

Where to get photos

Prefer wide landscape shots. Team Bloom resizes and compresses uploads.

  • Last season’s Google Drive, team chat, or parent albums — ask three people for one action shot each
  • The current club or school website / athletic department
  • Unsplash — search your sport plus “youth”, “volleyball gym”, “soccer field”; photos there are free to use under the Unsplash License

There is no in-app Unsplash picker or logo generator — download the file, then upload it here.

Registration fields

Parent first/last/email and player first/last/DOB are always on. For a first tryout, also turn on:

  • Phone
  • Age groups
  • Tryout dates
  • Referral source
  • Comments

Skip height and experience until a coach asks for them. Unlisted pages (Show in navigation off) still work at /join/[slug] — useful if you only want the link in an event or a text thread.

Do not expect this form to collect a tryout fee. Payment is a ticketed event after Stripe payouts.
